Formerly known as Tarneit Plains Primary School, Mindalk Primary School is a newly developed education facility scheduled to open in 2026. ABS Painting was proudly awarded the complete painting and protective coatings package for this landmark project.

The school’s design incorporates strong cultural narratives, with architectural elements inspired by First Nations communities, expressed through thoughtfully curated artwork and colour palettes. ABS Painting delivered an extensive scope of works, applying 15 specialised protective coating systems across multiple steel substrates throughout the campus.

Operating under a tightly managed construction program, ABS Painting successfully met all project milestones through effective on-site coordination, disciplined workflow management, and rigorous implementation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).

In addition to visually striking external features, the project included a wide range of internal surfaces requiring a premium, high-level finish. Throughout delivery, ABS Painting worked collaboratively with joiners, plasterers, flooring contractors, caulkers, and other finishing trades to ensure seamless integration and exceptional results.

A strong working relationship and clear communication framework were also established with the project builder, contributing to the smooth execution and overall success of the project.
